Job Description

Our client is a furniture company located in Pointe-Claire (100% onsite) seeking to hire an Inventory Management Specialist .


The client is flexible with compensation depending on experience, there are notable growth prospects, and the role offers comprehensive insurance with 4 weeks of vacation.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years in inventory management, including handling imports
  • Experience maintaining adequate inventory levels, forecasting, and reporting
  • Strong in MS Excel (Sage also an asset)
  • Strong English with functional working French
  • Permanent Canadian resident



Key Tasks:

  • Oversee delivery timelines to ensure efficient stock management
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and carriers, including price negotiations
  • Analyze and generate reports on inventory performance to support decision-making
  • Ensure that appropriate documentation is associated with each shipment and provided to brokers
  • Contribute to the creation of dashboards and the implementation of performance indicators
  • Manage inventory forecasts to ensure adequate supply
  • Ensure accurate customer demand planning to optimize inventory levels
  • Efficiently manage fixed inventory assets
