Our client is a furniture company located in Pointe-Claire (100% onsite) seeking to hire an Inventory Management Specialist .

Requirements:
- 5+ years in inventory management, including handling imports
- Experience maintaining adequate inventory levels, forecasting, and reporting
- Strong in MS Excel (Sage also an asset)
- Strong English with functional working French
- Permanent Canadian resident
Key Tasks:
- Oversee delivery timelines to ensure efficient stock management
- Manage relationships with suppliers and carriers, including price negotiations
- Analyze and generate reports on inventory performance to support decision-making
- Ensure that appropriate documentation is associated with each shipment and provided to brokers
- Contribute to the creation of dashboards and the implementation of performance indicators
- Manage inventory forecasts to ensure adequate supply
- Ensure accurate customer demand planning to optimize inventory levels
- Efficiently manage fixed inventory assets
