Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer 4/5 axis machining processes from start to finish, including work holding selection and design.
• Develop and optimize CAM programs using Mastercam for simultaneous 5-axis milling.
• Simulate and validate machining processes to ensure optimal efficiency and precision.
• Collaborate with QC to define and refine inspection processes.
• Provide support to the shop floor team during part launches and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machining, tooling, and workholding.
• Maintain a focus on continuous improvement, process optimization, and cost reduction.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Mastercam for 5-axis milling.
• Extensive experience designing complex workholding for challenging parts.
• Deep knowledge of modern cutting tool and toolholding systems.
• Strong understanding of Blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Proven experience with hard metal machining.
• SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software experience is a plus.
• Mill/Turn experience is a plus.
