About the role:

An international top AM and Vault ranked law firm are seeking a Corporate Tax Associate to join any of their dominant New York City office location.

The tax team advise on company formation, taxable and tax-free M&A, recapitalizations, real estate transactions, investment fund formations, research and development joint ventures, tech transfers, leveraged buyouts, partnership transactions, and private and public securities offerings.

Qualified candidates will have:

• A minimum of two years’ relevant law firm experience.
• The individual should have experience dedicate to tax-related work on transactions, including significant experience with M&A transactions.
• Experience with a broad range of transactions with a collegial group that values training, mentoring and collaboration.
• Proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload, within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage smaller projects and exhibit strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong academic credentials and writing skills is imperative.
