Job Description:
Our firm is actively searching for a Plaintiff Mass Torts Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in tort litigation. This is an in-office position, thus the candidate should be prepared for a traditional office work environment. The candidate must possess excellent writing skills, a high level of emotional intelligence, and a robust get-the-job-done attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Represent and advise clients in plaintiff mass torts litigation matters.
- Draft and file various legal documents including complaints, answers, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs.
- Develop and implement a strategic approach towards case resolution.
- Provide legal counsel to clients during all stages of the litigation process.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation cases.
- Conduct extensive legal research and analysis of pertinent laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in case preparation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, courts, and others involved in the legal process.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Alabama.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in plaintiff mass torts litigation.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to manage sensitive issues.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
