Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced construction litigator. The ideal candidate has experience working with large general contractors, architects and designers.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Provide counsel to clients regarding their legal rights and options.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the effective handling of cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
• 3+ years of experience practicing construction law.
• Strong litigation skills, including experience in conducting depositions and arguing motions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
