Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our law firm as a remote worker. The ideal candidate should have 2-15 years of relevant experience and should be well-versed in California Workers Compensation Law. The position requires someone who is detail-oriented, a team player, and can work independently within a remote environment. The law firm is open to considering Insurance Defense attorneys as well.

Responsibilities:

• Representing clients in legal proceedings related to workers' compensation claims
• Advising clients on their legal rights and entitlements
• Conducting legal research on relevant case law and statutes
• Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Attending hearings and depositions
• Maintaining accurate case records and communicating regularly with clients
• Collaborating with billing staff to meet hourly targets

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• 2-15 years of relevant experience in California Workers' Compensation Law
• Active California Bar License
