Responsibilities for this\u00a0Certified Nursing Assistant\u00a0opportunity include, but are not limited to:Assist residents with daily bath, dressing, grooming, dental care, bladder functions, preparations for medical tests and exams, ear and eye care and positioning in and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, etc.Provide nursing functions as directed by supervisor including daily perennial care, catheter care, turn residents in bed, all bathing, measure and record temperature, pulse and respiration, weigh and measure residents, perform restorative and rehabilitative procedure and observe and report presence of skin breakdowns; review care plans daily, report changes in resident conditions to supervisor; and, record all necessary charting entries and report all accidents and incidents.Prepare patients for meals and snacks; identify food arrangements and assist in feeding residents as need; record food and fluid intake; and perform after-meal patients care as needed.Maintain resident confidentiality; treat patients with kindness, dignity, and respect; Promptly report all patient complaints, accidents, and incidents to the supervisor.Assist as directed in proper admission, transfer, and discharge of residents; inventory\u00a0resident possessions and report food articles and medications found in patient rooms; and, report\u00a0defective equipment to administrationUnderstand and use Universal Precautions and follow established safety rules; ensure\u00a0cleanliness of assigned patients\u2019 rooms; properly maintain and record patient restraints; and,\u00a0promptly report all violations of safety and sanitation rules to the supervisor.Attend and participate in orientation, training, educational activities and staffing meetings\u00a0as requested.Participate in training and education of staff as requested.Performs other duties as requested.\u00a0JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CNA CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT:Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or license eligible in the state of employmentMust be eligible to work in the United States.\u00a0CareerStaff is proud to be a six-time Great Place to Work\u2122 and Diversity for Social Impact\u2122 certified source of healthcare careers.
