Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated CNA to join our home health team. As an integral part of our organization, you will provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients within their homes. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our patients.
CNAs perform personal care activities that assist the patient with
activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
  • Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
  • Ambulation
  • Eating
  • Dressing
  • Shaving
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
CNAs will also perform patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
  • Emptying ostomy appliances
  • Reinforcement of dressings
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Measuring and preparing special diets
  • Taking vital signs
  • Application of an external catheter
  • Medication reminders
CNA also performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited
to):
  • vacuuming
  • dusting
  • sweeping or mopping floors
  • doing dishes
  • changing bed linens
  • doing laundry
  • cleaning bathrooms

Requirements
  1. CNA Certification: Completion of a FL-approved CNA training program and passing the competency exam.
  2. Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move patients, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  3. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff effectively.
  4. Compassion and Empathy: Ability to provide care with kindness, understanding, and patience.
  5. Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to notice changes in patients' conditions and report them accurately.
  6. Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with the healthcare team and follow instructions from supervisors.
