Requirements and Nature of Work:
An exam proctor’s duties include to invigilate during an examination, and when required, to perform other related duties including but not limited to bringing exams to the examination room, distributing exams to Students, collecting exams at the end of the examination, placing the exams in order, coordinating other proctors, and delivering the completed exams to the appropriate place.
Responsibilities:
- Invigilate examinations for students registered with Academic Accommodations Service for both in-person and online exams.
- Respect the University’s policies and regulations, and Academic Accommodations procedures.
- Respect individual accommodation plans and confidentiality of students.
- Maintain academic integrity of examinations.
- Maintain a high standard of client service.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion at all times.
- Preparation of adaptive measures.
- Retrieval, distribution, and collection of examinations in the exam room.
- Other exam-related administrative tasks.
