The occupation of guidance counselor includes, in particular, providing assistance to pupils in the choice of the educational profile most suited to their inclinations and professional career they have chosen.
Be a member of the l’Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d’orientation du Québec / bachelor’s degree with an appropriate specialty, notably in academic training.
Excellent knowledge of oral and written English and French.
Knowledge of most recent development in orientation.
Capacity to work in collaboration with colleagues, parents and superior.
Aptitudes for interpersonal relations (courtesy, respect and integrity).
5 years experience would be considerer an asset.
Knowledge of alternative programs available in the Capitale-Nationale region would be considered an asset.
