Six (6) months experience in a hospital/physician setting, obtaining insurance benefits and pre-certification is preferred Prior collection experience is preferred. Billing experience and contract knowledge is preferred. One year of experience in a similar occupation and basic medical terminology and ICD 9 coding experience is preferred.
