Job opportunity: Planner
Location: New Britain, PA | Oliver Healthcare Packaging
Are you passionate about ensuring seamless production and delivering exceptional customer experiences? At Oliver Healthcare Packaging, we're looking for a detail-oriented Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring machine capacity, material resources, and tooling are available to meet customer demand while optimizing operational efficiency.
What You'll Do:
As a Planner, you'll be at the intersection of material building, production scheduling, and resource planning. You'll drive the production process by ensuring that all elements-from materials to machine capacity-are perfectly aligned to deliver on time, in full, and with minimal waste.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage schedules to ensure materials, machine capacity, and tooling are available for production based on customer demand.
  • Monitor and update production schedules daily to reflect the latest progress and ensure optimal machine utilization.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Purchasing teams to maximize efficiency and minimize machine downtime.
  • Stay ahead of material shortages by working hand-in-hand with Purchasing and update teams on material deliveries to keep production flowing.
  • Use inventory management techniques to balance optimal stock levels and replenishment needs.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling and capacity planning.
  • As a Sr. Planner, you'll also analyze data to report KPIs, manage First Article paperwork, and ensure the accuracy of work orders to assist with month-end closures.
Qualifications:
Basic:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in a similar role (4+ years for Sr. Planner).
Preferred:
  • CPIM Certification and/or professional memberships (APICS, ISM, SCC).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals like scheduling, MRP, and inventory management.
  • Experience with ERP systems and MRP tools, with report writing know-how.
Why Oliver Healthcare Packaging?
  • Join a collaborative, growth-oriented team that values continuous improvement.
  • Play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through precise production and planning.
  • Grow your career in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development.

Ready to make an impact? Apply today to join Oliver Healthcare Packaging in New Britain, PA, and help us deliver top-quality healthcare packaging solutions to our customers.
