The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the execution of Cannabis Inventory processes within the dispensary to ensure compliance with state regulations, and prompt availability of Cannabis Inventory to our patients and customers once received.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Oversees and coordinates inventory processes within the dispensary ensuring adherence to inventory management protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supervises Retail Inventory Lead and delegates tasks appropriately to ensure timely, accurate completion of inventory related processes.
- Performs accurate maintenance of the digital and physical tracking and organization of all Cannabis inventory within the dispensary with close attention to detail
- Verifies physical inventory received matches order expectation and delivery manifests before accepting delivered product.
- Performs the input of data into Point of Sale system and maintains online menu as outlined by the Dispensary Manager in timely manner
- Assists in conducting daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts and audits within the facility.
- Investigates inventory discrepancies or issues until to determine cause, determines steps to mitigate future discrepancy and provides all detail to Dispensary Manager for appropriate action.
- Provides necessary labels and documents to assist dispensary team in tracking capabilities
- Assists in the maintenance of analysis reports on external product that informs inventory decisions by the Dispensary Manager and Buyer.
- Assists with requirements to remain compliant to all applicable regulations, as it relates to Cannabis inventory
- Adheres to state and company policies, following appropriate Standard Operating Procedure according to assigned task
- Maintains a clean, safe environment and ensures secure storage of inventory.
- Serves as a resource for dispensary staff concerning products and inventory process
- Additional tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent- Required
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field – Preferred
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience - Required
- Minimum 3 years experience in inventory, data entry, or spreadsheet management - Required
Computers and Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn, navigate and accurately utilize the company's Point of Sale , inventory tracking systems, and online ordering platforms
Schedule
- Must be available to work flexible retail schedule including weekends

Office environment involves frequent standing, sitting, and walking. Daily administrative tasks require frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination for accurate typing, paperwork, and other tasks. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
