Finance Manager - $135,000 - $145,000 | Baltimore, MD | Hybrid Work

Salary: $135,000 - $145,000

Location: Baltimore, MD

Office Situation: hybrid position - 2 days a week in-office

What the Finance Manager will do:

  • Lead the annual audit, coordinate with auditors, and prepare necessary documents.
  • Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly budget-to-actual reports and annual financial statements.
  • Assist with financial reports and presentations for management and trustees.
  • Oversee treasury activities, including cash projections and risk management.
  • Mentor and manage a small team of accountants.

What the company needs in a Finance Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (Master's preferred).
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, with extensive knowledge in tax and financial accounting.
  • CPA license required.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a management role.
  • Experience in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector, with grants experience preferred.
