Exciting Direct-Hire Industrial Maintenance Technician Opportunity!!
Maintenance Technician Job Details:

• Schedule: 8am-5pm M-F (1 hour lunch break)
• Pay Rate: $52,000-62,400 (25-30/hr)

Maintenance Technician Job Description:

• Conducts preventative maintenance on plant production equipment and support systems and respond to emergency repairs as needed.
• Operates shop equipment including hand/power tools, measuring devices and material handling equipment as needed.
• Performs a variety of plumbing, electrical and carpentry installation and repairs.
• Continually build on and enhance the Safety culture through Toolbox Talks, Safety Committee training, and other impactful techniques.
• Conducts Safety inspections including, but not limited to fire extinguishers, fire risers, AED, and eye wash stations.
• Responsible for all near miss/injury investigations and corrective actions.

Requirements: 
Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety in the workplace practices and OSHA compliance a plus but not required.
• Prior experience with Six Sigma or other efficiency programs a plus.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic air systems, industrial electrical and electronic repairs
• Understanding of plant production equipment and building support systems.
• Prior maintenance of lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, milling machines, power and manual hand tools.
