Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Inspector to join our fire business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide the inspection and testing of fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes.
- Maintain complete and accurate inspection report documentation, including deficiency repair recommendations.
- Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
- Interact professionally with customers.
- Follow and maintain structured inspection schedules
- Communicate inspection status, changes or problems to supervisor or manager
- Work overtime when needed.
- Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role.
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment.
Basic Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in testing, inspecting, or servicing fire alarm, burglar alarms, video surveillance or access control systems
- Valid Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications - Manufacturer certifications preferred (ex. Siemens, Notifier, Honeywell, Bosch).
- New York City – Certificate of Fitness for Fire Alarm Systems Inspections, Testing, and Service (S-98)
Salary: $30.00 to $35.00/hr
