Job Details Your opportunity:
As an Automation Technician II you will have the opportunity to design, build, wire, assemble, and install electrical controls used in machines and tooling systems. You will be responsible for basic programming of one or more of the following: HMI, PLC.
What you’ll be doing:
Write PLC-HMI program using various software packages.
Create electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layout using AutoCAD Electrical, Build, and wire electrical panels.
Typical programs would be low complexity machine control.
Design low complexity machine guarding strategies that comply with OSHA and ANSI standards, to ensure the safety of our Greenheck teammates.
Wire external machine components to electrical cabinet.
Develop electrical parts list for the project.
Order parts for projects using Ariba Purchasing system Power up, troubleshoot, and commission machine to make production ready.
What you should have:
Required 2-4 years of relevant work experience
2 Year / associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or Automation Engineering Technology is preferred, or equivalent experience
AutoCAD Electrical Drafting software
Basic PLC training
Basic HMI Programming
OSHA 1910 and NFPA 70E Safety Training
Industrial Control Safety Standards
National Electrical Code basic knowledge
