Job Description: Are you a compassionate and skilled phlebotomist looking to make a positive impact on patient care? We're seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I to join our team and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities: - Patient Interaction: Represent the company to patients, creating a trusting and welcoming environment while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens accurately and safely.
- Specimen Processing: Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing, following established practices and procedures.
- Process Excellence: Demonstrate leadership behaviors and focus on process excellence, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in patient information.
- Operational Efficiency: Perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain required records and documentation.
- Customer Service: Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
- Skills: Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric. Flexibility and availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
