In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient sterilization, organization, and dispensation of dental instruments, equipment, and supplies used in patient treatments by our students and faculty.Key Responsibilities:Sterilize, arrange, and dispense dental instruments, equipment, and supplies for patient treatments.Maintain an adequate inventory of all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment in the Dispensing area.Clean and sterilize all supplies, instruments, and equipment required for patient treatment according to established protocols.Prepare procedure tray set-ups needed for each clinical session.Assemble, check-out, and check-in individual treatment trays for each patient.Dispense supplemental instruments and materials as requested throughout the day.Maintain accurate records of equipment loaned to faculty and students.Conduct daily inspections of operatories to ensure the return of instruments, materials, and equipment.Safely dispose of needles and anesthetic carpules in compliance with regulations.Assist students in selecting the proper materials and equipment for each clinical session.Stock dental operatories with necessary disposable supplies.Manage and maintain a clean linen inventory.Report any missing items not returned by students to the supervisor promptly.Assist annually in the preparation for mock and regional boards.Assist in logging cases in and out from external professional dental laboratories.Contribute to the formation and maintenance of inventory records.Operate autoclaves and perform routine spore testing, maintaining performance records for technical services.
