Location: St Petersburg Area Command Children's Village, St Petersburg, FL 33713Position Type: Regular Full-Time, 40 hours/week Monday-Friday 9am-5pm ETPay Range: $20-22/hourAbout this opportunity:This position is responsible for providing case management, care coordination, and scheduling of individual & group counseling for the residents of Children's Village. Maintains case files for all Children's Village residents.Key responsibilities:Prepares individual service plans for children following contract guidelines and accreditation standards; utilizes information gathered from direct observation, community input and staff interviews.Schedules clinical appointments with outside vendors based on the individual needs of the children.Meets with outside clinical service providers to understand the specific challenges for each resident and use the information to better serve each resident.What we are looking for in you:Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field and a minimum of two years' experience in the field of social work, one of which has to have been in child welfare services, ORBachelor's degree in social work and a minimum of four years' experience in the field of social work, two of which have to have been in child welfare services.Valid state driver's license required.Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in CPR and First Aid.Must be able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.Must Pass Level II Background CheckPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Work is performed in a normal child care/home environment where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
