Job Title: Medical Assistant Floater

Job Description

This is a Medical Assistant Floater position for the Daytona Beach Region. The candidate will primarily float within these offices but may also be required to cover in locations outside of the listed offices. The candidate MUST be flexible, dedicated, and professional!

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Floater will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. Supports clinician and care management teams in assessing and maintaining chronic disease management. The Laboratory Medical Assistant Floater is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. This floating employee will be working in various offices to support in either the MA role or dedicated Lab station.

Hard Skills

+ MA Diploma / Certification required OR a minimum of 3 years MA experience will commensurate Diploma / Certification requirement.

+ Active BLS certification required.

+ Active & valid driver's license required.

+ Phlebotomy experience
