The law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. This position is ideal for a legal professional with a proven track record in insurance defense or general liability litigation who is looking to grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including case analysis, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and trial advocacy.
• Defend clients in general liability cases or other types of insurance defense matters, ensuring high-quality legal representation.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers, providing strategic advice and updates.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings as required.
• Maintain compliance with the firm’s 1850 annual billable hour requirement while delivering superior client service.

Qualifications:

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• License: Admission to the California State Bar (active and in good standing).
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years handling insurance defense or general liability cases.
