Russell Tobin is working with a premier organization to support their growing team! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment, with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, conveyors, and PLCs.
This is a direct hire/permanent role, with current openings on both 2nd and 3rd shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform failure analysis, and participate in problem-solving and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production to make quick, informed troubleshooting decisions.
- Maintain, test, and upgrade production equipment; install and test new manufacturing and packaging systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and workplace safety.
- Work respectfully with supervisors, technicians, and machine operators.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in industrial manufacturing maintenance, with experience in Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Skilled in electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair; able to pass the Ramsey Mechanical (Electrical) Skills Assessment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in RS Logix software for machine troubleshooting.
- Familiar with Control Logix, Compact Logix, SLC500, or PLC5 systems.
- Knowledgeable in reading schematics and using multimeters on control panels up to 480VAC.
- Experienced in handling VFDs, Panelview, and Panelview Plus configurations.
- Eager to continue developing technical skills.
Physical Demands:
- Stand, walk, and handle equipment for extended periods.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and adjust to various visual requirements.
