Maintenance Supervisor

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2 pm - 10:30 pm (with flexibility for weekends as needed)


Are you an experienced maintenance professional with a talent for leading and mentoring teams? My client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and direct their maintenance team, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for prioritizing daily tasks, coordinating maintenance operations, and providing first-line support for emergency maintenance requests. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the Maintenance Manager, contribute to preventative maintenance programs, oversee equipment repairs, and help develop policies and procedures for their maintenance operations.


What You’ll Do:

  • Direct and assign daily maintenance tasks for optimal safety and efficiency.
  • Support and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as the first point of contact.
  • Maintain accurate records in maintenance management systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting breakdowns and supporting root cause analysis.
  • Partner with inventory teams to manage spare parts and equipment.
  • Provide training on new and existing equipment, procedures, and policies.
  • Participate in employee performance reviews, training, and development activities.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of maintenance experience with proven leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of facility equipment and safety protocols.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs, mentor team members, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Licensing or certifications (e.g., electrical, welding, boiler) are a plus.
