Position Requirements

• Experience: 1–5 years of experience in family law. Candidates with less than 1 year of experience must demonstrate a strong academic background and relevant family law internships or clerkships.
• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• License: Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Skills:
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Effective client communication and counseling abilities.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases efficiently.
• Courtroom or mediation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support, and prenuptial agreements.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Participate in client consultations and strategy meetings.
• Handle discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case preparation and trial strategies.
