We are currently looking for a Logistics Analyst to join our team based out of our Birmingham location.
Position Summary:
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for the tactical logistic operations oversite of the three major sales channel product flow including Nutraceuticals, Pellets, Trocars, and Patient Rx through the 3rd Party Logistics and CMO supplier networks.
Essential Functions
- Communicates potential issues with delivery dates, rejected materials, replacement materials, expedited orders and documentation to the appropriate departments.
- Coordinates and makes the necessary arrangements for fulfillment issues.
- Ensures customer orders are flowing through the 3rd Party Logistic suppliers and resolve issues as required.
- Performs follow-up on logistic supplier deliveries and exceptions.
- Receives inventory into ERP system as required.
- Oversees supply chain directed customer service team tickets (ZenDesk) and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensures transportation supplier operation performance oversite and invoice review and approval.
- Provides oversite on international customer shipments (ie, Canada, Mexico, etc.).
- Practices oversite on Nutraceutical customer orders flowing through the Magento order system.
- Generates and present logistic reports including budget analysis, supplier performance metrics and KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Assists in evaluating and managing supplier performance, including conducting periodic supplier reviews and audits.
- Works closely with Accounts Payable and Business Owners to reconcile problems associated with receiving transactions.
- Represents Biote in an ethical and professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Inventory Management and Logistics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have exceptional organization and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of logistic operations.
- Effectively manages change, is flexible, makes timely quality decisions.
- Experience with ERP and Customer Service software systems (e.g., SAGE Intacct ERP, ZenDesk customer service tracking, etc.) experience a plus.
- Able to effectively multi-task, problem solve and manage changing levels of responsibilities.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills to be able to provide timely feedback and communicate appropriately with other departments.
- Energetic and self-motivated team player/builder.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook).
- Project experience on cross functional teams.
