HR Generalist - Intermediate

6+ months contract JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview: This Denver-based contractor role involves conducting confidential investigations related to conduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in accordance with *** policies, local laws, regulations, and requirements. This position also offers the opportunity to use consultative strategies while partnering with peers and stakeholders on escalations involving performance management, employee accommodations, and sensitive employee situations. This position supports the North America region, however, may take on cases in any of the other 50+ countries *** has employees.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex workplace investigations and driving process improvements through data analysis and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategy and create investigation plans prior to conducting, managing, and documenting investigations of varied complexity and scope to support the employee experience and mitigate risk for the organization.
Conduct thorough and impartial global workplace investigations on a variety of case issues, including but not limited to policy violations, discriminatory conduct, harassment, bullying, and workplace violence.
Manage an average caseload of 8 complex investigations at any given time, with a goal of closing cases within 30 days or less.
Assess the severity of determined company policy violations, involve appropriate stakeholders, and provide final recommendations based on policy and company precedent.
Consult with cross-functional peers on processes, inquiries and escalated employee matters.
Analyze investigation data and provide trend information to appropriate parties, as well as strategic actions to address themes and trends within a business.
Prepare clear, concise, and accurate investigative reports that summarize findings and provide recommendations for resolution. Present findings to management and other stakeholders as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of all investigations and employee relations matters. Ensure documentation is complete, secure, and in compliance with legal and company requirements.
Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and practices to ensure consistent and fair handling of employee relations matters. Provide guidance and advice to leaders and employees on policy-related issues.
Collaboration regularly with other employee relations team members, Legal, HR Business Partners, regional HR team members, physical security, and cyber security, to ensure comprehensive resolution of cases. on a variety of sensitive matters.

Qualifications:
Ability to work in office, 3 days a week, in our Denver, Headquarters.
Ability to communication and write fluently in Spanish, Portuguese a plus.
Strong working knowledge of global employment law codes; including international labor codes and laws.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, empathetic, and welcoming demeanor.
5+ years of end-to-end, employee facing HR experience as a Generalist or Business Partner, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, and compliance; 5+ years of the experience managing and conducting full-cycle, complex internal employee investigations.
Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders in a complex matrix environment, with employees in 10+ countries.
Ability to build relationships, collaborate with teams, and deliver customer service to our employees, at all levels, up to C-suite.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with proven experience in report writing and data-driven decision-making.
Technical requirements include solid understanding of MS Office Products and ServiceNow.
