Key Responsibilities
As an HR/Payroll Representative , you’ll have the opportunity to:
? Process biweekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states , including California, using ADP Workforce Now , while ensuring compliance with multi-state payroll regulations.
? Oversee employee relations at the Connecticut site, addressing workplace issues, fostering engagement, and supporting HR initiatives.
? Maintain employee records, including salary changes, benefits, tax information, and work status updates.
? Assist in benefits administration , managing health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee programs.
? Create requisitions in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and support the hiring process.
? Coordinate new hire orientation and manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
? Prepare payroll and HR reports for leadership review.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Experience : 3+ years of HR experience, including payroll administration across multiple states.
Payroll Scope : Previous experience processing payroll for 500+ employees is required.
Software Expertise : Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is required.
Multi-State Payroll : Familiarity with California payroll regulations is highly preferred.
HR Skills : Experience with employee relations, compliance, and engagement initiatives at a site level.
Education : A high school diploma is required; an associate’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
Confidentiality : The ability to manage sensitive employee information with discretion.
