Key Responsibilities ?
- Lead hazardous waste and wastewater management programs
- Conduct industrial hygiene monitoring and environmental compliance activities
- Perform safety audits and incident investigations
- Manage emergency response equipment and procedures
- Lead new employee and contractor safety training programs
- Support EPA compliance initiatives (SPCC, NPDES, SWPPP)
- Facilitate Job Safety Analysis and Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews
- Serve as a key safety resource for manufacturing operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or actively pursuing)
- 5+ years of Safety, Healthy, and Environmental (SHE) experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, SWPPP, SPCC, and RCRA regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed
