Formulate and enact strategies for the comprehensive lifecycle management of fleet assets, including standardization, maintenance, network configuration, allocation, and disposal. Establish vehicle maintenance strategies and capital replacement plans grounded in Total Cost of Ownership principles. Devise and implement strategies to optimize parts procurement and utilization, aiming to minimize inventory levels, maximize financial resources, and reduce the risk of obsolescence. Lead the development and execution of complex projects aimed at business transformation and process optimization. Engage with a diverse group of partners, including internal and external customers, suppliers, and partners, to solve issues, drive improvements, and solidify new processes. Propel projects and organizational goals to successful business outcomes. Ensure the quality and consistency of process improvements, taking part in verification following implementation. Present well-defined business issues and their potential solutions to senior management. Oversee the deployment and management of robust quality management systems to safeguard maintenance quality, cost, and safety. Create and maintain metrics to evaluate the performance of external suppliers, M&R maintenance shops, and to gauge customer satisfaction. Spearhead quality enhancement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams, promoting continuous improvement. Act swiftly to resolve high-priority issues. Gather and interpret statistical and customer feedback data to identify and address field issues. Educate new team members on departmental procedures and policies, emphasizing ethical behavior and safety practices. Advise and support other departments on maintenance quality-related issues within their operational scope. Investigate customer complaints thoroughly, determining causes, implementing solutions, and reporting outcomes. Monitor and evaluate staff productivity and performance against company standards. Work in partnership with senior leadership to create and implement short-term and long-term process enhancement strategies that support the company’s overall goals. Lead the charge on process improvement initiatives, enhancing quality protocols, driving efficiency, and reducing redundancy. Embrace the role of fostering the adoption of new processes, current processes through dedicated support and training. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Minimum of 6 years of experience in fleet maintenance or quality control, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing large-scale fleet operations. Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Possesses a robust analytical aptitude and comprehensive computer skills, necessary for adeptly managing fleet maintenance software, platforms, and utilizing Microsoft Office Suite products to gather, analyze, and leverage data for informed decision-making. Adept at training and policy development to ensure high standards of team performance and compliance. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams and achieve significant business improvements.
