Our Client is looking to add a Commercial Electrical Field Superintendent to their growing team. This Superintendent will have at least 15 years of verifiable Commercial Supervisory Work experience.

The Field Superintendent will work closely with the Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and the CEO of the company. They will be responsible for organizing and supervising all projects that are assigned to their care. They will facilitate project preparation and execution to ensure that the company objectives of cost and quality are met, as well as monitor and document project progress. This position will ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position will consist of 20% Office Related Tasks, and 80% Field related tasks. Some projects will required hands on physical installations and other may be with a crew.

Requirements
- You must be able to pass a background and drug test prior to starting working.
- Must have company required hand tools and testers.
- Ability to complete project documentation on company portals and software such as daily reports, material request, out of scope work change orders, safety and incident reports.
- Stable work history, with 15 or more Years of Commercial Electrical Supervisory Experience, and experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- You must have the ability to think through and resolve field issues, and troubleshooting experience.
- Consistent and respectful, productive, and beneficial communication with our team, our clients, our Subcontractors and our GC's, while building and maintaining rapport with all interactions, and providing excellent Customer Service.
- Ability to coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades as well as the GC to identify and resolve any conflicts.
- You must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record to be on our commercial insurance policy.
- You must be willing to travel to check on and/or assist on jobsites as needed.
- A Team Player attitude is non-negotiable.
- Journeyman Preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a positive work attitude and agreeable/friendly demeanor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to complete project documentation on company portals, using software such as daily reports, material request, out of scope work change orders, safety and incident reports.
- Strong NEC and Florida Building codes knowledge.
- Technologically savvy with Microsoft Office Suite, and Trimble Accubid, with the ability to learn new software as needed.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, overseeing projects status compared to expected timeline. Planning, organizing, and directing production of contracted scope of work, and managing all jobs from bid acceptance to final closeout procedures.
- Ability to review project documents, drawings, wiring diagrams, instructional manuals, specifications, and blueprints to identify scope changes, address issues, communicate project milestones, schedule work activities and field installations according to the scope of work and project schedule.
- Ability to manage project budgets so that costs are controlled and within limits, and attend monthly job cost meetings on assigned projects.
- Able to think 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule and plan work accordingly. Such as material lead times, equipment, and manpower needs.
- Working with the Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Agent to monitor company tools and equipment.
- Work with Project Management team toward goals and expectations and execute work plan with field staff. Inspect and ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.
- Ensure all company policies are promoted with direct reports in the field and safety protocol is followed.
- Act as our client liaison in coordinating production. This will include attending meetings with architects, engineers, GC's and other trades to identify and resolve any conflicts and ensure that all projects are completed according to plan.
