Job Description

PPG Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative at our Mount Laurel site. You will report directly to the Customer Service Manager. You will be the main point of contact for the customer and therefore the face of PPG. You must ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is always met. In this role, you will be responsible for the areas of order administration, distribution, communication, and support to the sales team. This role requires consistent attention to detail, constant communication, diligence and accuracy in processing and checking customer information.
Key Responsibilities

  • Process credit cards, handle DRP invoicing, maintain weekly management schedule, order entry, record and mail checks
  • Greet and screen visitors, distribute mail, confirm EMT and ZU orders, scan documents into Laserfiche, pull files when needed, enter DMO requests, filter phone calls, maintain supply closet, stock printers/faxes, etc.
  • Serve as back up for colleagues on vacation.
  • Maintain quality professional relationships and ensure responsiveness to customer needs
  • Respond promptly to customer quotes, orders, inquiries, and invoicing issues
  • Enter and manage data, including issuing customer quotes and managing sales orders
  • Ensure accurate responses to customer requests and maintain regular communication and status updates
  • Perform purchase order reviews
  • Coordinate with plant production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure product availability and shipment
  • Operate various computer software, including QAD, Excel, outlook, Teams and other Windows-based applications
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Qualifications
  • One (1) year of experience providing customer service in a corporate environment preferred, OR six months of experience working at PPG in a similar support role required
  • Experience providing customer service to businesses of all sizes, from large corporations to small businesses, preferred
  • Proficiency with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
