Position Overview
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing purchasing processes and procedures. This individual is dedicated to ensuring that we are making the best decisions possible regarding the purchase of all materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses
- Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews and analysis to assess their quality
- Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
- Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit their company
- Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services
- Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with meticulous record-keeping
- Manage truck replenishment process, material return process, and purchase order process
- Manage next-day installs and installs in general, with regards to material and equipment staging and materials fulfillment
- Manage warehouse staff daily to maximize efficiency to streamline operations
- Manage full counts and cycle counts of both warehouse and vehicles
- Manage warranty returns process
- Manage material receiving process
- Vehicle maintenance – tracking, scheduling, maintenance, and repairs
- Manage tool maintenance

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
- Self-starter/resourceful - able to independently work, learn and plan with minimal guidance to drive tasks to conclusion
- Experience with inventory management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with different company departments
- The ability to understand and drive key performance indicators
- Capable of learning on the fly with a focus on problem-solving
- A self-motivated leader who is accountable for one’s work
- Strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with data
- High degree of action orientation and strong negotiation skills
