Salary/Pay Rate : $97,926 - $146,889 per year
Bonus/Benefits : - 15% Bonus with 150% Multiplier

About the Client : Our client, a respected healthcare provider in West Palm Beach, Florida, is seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead their perioperative team. This hospital offers a collaborative and supportive work environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. Their surgical department features 7 ORs (including a cysto room) and handles a diverse range of procedures, including general surgery, robotics, spine, women's services, vascular surgery, podiatry, and urology.
Job Description :
The Director of Surgical Services will provide leadership and oversight for the perioperative department, ensuring safe and efficient patient care while effectively managing operations. This role involves collaborating with staff, physicians, and hospital leadership to optimize surgical services, implement performance improvement initiatives, and promote a positive patient experience. The Director will also play a key role in mentoring and developing staff, fostering a culture of engagement and growth.
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Recent Surgical Services/OR Manager experience in an acute care setting
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within Surgical Services/OR
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
Preferred Skills :
- Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with operational efficiency and performance improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and accreditation standards
