They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.nnWhat You’ll Do:nnAssign tasks to team members. Ensure all duties are done in a timely manner.nnInstall, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.nnInspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.nnTroubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.nnApply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.nnCoach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.nnLead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.nnImpact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.nnWork within broad guidelines and policies.nnExplain difficult or sensitive information.nnWhat You’ll Need:nnHigh School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.nnMeet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and the ability to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.nnAbility to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.nnWillingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.nnIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.nnOrganizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.nnSophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.nnCBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the HVAC Engineer position is $34 per hour and the maximum salary for the HVAC Engineer position is $40 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
