If you have innovative ideas and a commitment to excellence, we are more than happy to consider you for other roles in Parker that may be a good fit.nnPOSITION SUMMARY:nnWith limited guidance in a team environment, responsible for various semi-complex inspection requirements.nnRESPONSIBILITIESnnMaintain accurate acceptance and rejection records and certification systems as required by specifications.nnInspect parts, tools, or instruments to determine acceptance or rejection, identifying defects and preparing documentation.nnPerform semi-complex inspections on machined parts using various measuring instruments and adapt inspection setups for sample parts, forgings, and castings.nnInterpret specifications, blueprints, and technical documents to assess acceptability, using mathematics for dimension and tolerance conversions.nnConduct calibration on semi-complex measuring and test equipment, setting up conditions and documenting calibration intervals.nnPerform nondestructive testing, including daily checks and equipment setup, while ensuring compliance with safety rules and maintaining a FOD-free work area.nnInvestigate customer return failures and assist source inspectors as necessary, documenting and evaluating inspection results according to approved procedures.nnQUALIFICATIONSnnThree years related inspection or calibration experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.nnPreferred experience of CMM operations, background in dimensioning and tolerancing per ANSI Y 14.5.nnKnowledge of applicable military standards or specifications required.nnProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, customer's specifications and internal drawings and procedures.nnPossess working knowledge of shop mathematics including trigonometry.nnPersonal hand tools may be required.nnMay be required to lift up to 50 lbs.nnMust demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.nnAbility to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.nnCome join the Parker Aerospace Team!
