This position is performed following all Parker Hannifin Standard Operating Procedures and Safety regulations and practices. Monitors machines and process, reporting irregularities to Lead or Supervisor for problem identification and resolution.nnIs responsible for material handling for each assigned process.nnDocuments, logs, compiles reports as required and/or requested.nnParticipates in area and process team projects and activities.nnPerforms or assists with other duties as assigned.nnEducation, Training and ExperiencennRequired HS diploma or GED;nnMachine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferrednnKnowledge and SkillsnnMathematical aptitude and proficiencynnKeyboarding skills, with some knowledge of MS Office softwarennAbility to operate forklift and manual and electric jack; Company will trainnnMeasurement skills, including use of precision measuring tools and equipmentnnAttention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot for process and product improvementnnEffective English verbal communication and listening skillsnnProblem solving skills and ability to work under pressurennSuccessful prioritizing and management of work projectsnnPhysical DemandsnnExtended periods of sitting/standing at work stationnnSquatting, reaching, stretching, twisting, climbing step ladder, eye/hand coordinationnnVisual acuity, including color differentiationnnUse of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)nnFrequent lifting/moving of objects up to 30 lbs, occasional lifting/moving or objects up to 50 lbs.nnMust be able to accurately read colors.nnWork EnvironmentnnManufacturing plantnnExposure to moving parts on a line, as well as moving equipment throughout the p lantnnEssential job functions identified, and training, experience, knowledge, and skills sections are representative of the minimum levels required to perform the vital duties of this position.
