OH LA LA is a fast-growing food startup with a unique French Riviera-inspired concept, blending a vibrant bakery, café, and restaurant experience. We’ve just completed an exciting renovation, and our new dinner service is launching soon! As we expand our services, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to grow with us as we continue to build something special.
We’re seeking a motivated Floor Manager to take charge of the morning shift, train and lead the AM staff, and assist in building the team for our upcoming dinner service. Once the dinner service is established, the Floor Manager will transition to oversee the PM shift.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the morning shift operations, ensuring the highest levels of customer service, staff performance, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Train and mentor the AM staff to uphold OH LA LA’s standards and procedures.
- Play a pivotal role in recruiting and building the dinner service team , ensuring smooth service transitions as we expand into full-service dinner operations.
- Create and manage the FOH schedule , ensuring adequate staffing levels and controlling labor costs to stay within budget.
- Order dry products, menus, and inventory , maintaining appropriate par levels and ensuring the restaurant is well-stocked and prepared for daily operations.
- Monitor and control labor costs , keeping them within budget while ensuring excellent service levels.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness , overseeing daily cleaning tasks and organizing special cleaning projects as needed.
- Ensure daily operations run efficiently, from opening procedures to shift handovers.
- Monitor quality control, oversee health and safety standards, and lead by example with hands-on management.
- Manage customer relations, handling any issues or complaints with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with the management team on strategy, planning, and continuous improvements to operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a floor manager or in a similar supervisory role in a high-paced restaurant.
- Proven experience in training and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and the ability to handle pressure in a high-volume setting.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as required.
