Job Title: Field Superintendent
Department: Operations
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Field Operations Manager
Salary: Commensurate with experience + Benefits
JOB SUMMARY: The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and effectively managing daily on-site activities. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and client while successfully directing the subcontractors and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget. This individual will work closely with the Project Manager and fulfill an integral role on the project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Must follow the direction of the Field Operations Manager
- Direct supervision and management of crew
- Supervise, direct and coordinate labor activity
- Coordinate the delivery of tools, materials and equipment, both scheduling and quantities
- Communicate and coordinate with other trades and subcontractors on site
- Daily management of construction schedule
- Read, understand and communicate construction documents such as drawings, scopes of work, schedules, specifications, safety manuals, supervisor manual etc.
- Responsible for paperwork, timesheets and ensuring safety are being followed
- Attend jobsite progress and coordination meetings
- Ensure all company policies, standards and procedures are adhered to
- Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner
- Coordinate with BIM and Fabrication
- Proactive individual required, must be able to independently resolve problems or conflicts and adapt to changing situations
- Knowledge of construction site activities
- Time management with the ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency
- Must understand construction terms, scheduling, and planning concepts
- Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Must be computer literate
- Able to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Have knowledge of the plumbing and/or mechanical code
- Have knowledge of the ADA code
- Have knowledge of AHCA where applicable.
- Be able to read a submittal sheet for rough in for fixtures, carriers, equipment etc.
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Must be able to anticipate changes in schedule and prioritize workload.
- Must be able to adhere to budgets for accurate cost to complete.
- Must be able to Deal with BIM and Fabrication/Coordinate
- Strong written and oral communication
- Will be responsible to communicate with the project manager daily to inform him or her of any issues with the crew, material, or any other issue that may occur on the jobsite.
- Must follow and enforce all safety and operational rules required by WRN and the GC for that site.

Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS: - For consideration, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of plumbing and/or mechanical construction field experience. A Journeyman's license in the respected trade is a plus.
