Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traveling Superintendent to oversee multiple projects across Colorado. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day on-site construction operations and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules, adjusting as needed to ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
  • Manage and document project progress through daily logs, photos, and reporting tools.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance inspections, addressing non-conformance issues promptly.
  • Lead and motivate construction crews, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field, with a focus on commercial and/or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Proficient with construction management software, such as Procore is a plus.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus.
