Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traveling Superintendent to oversee multiple projects across Colorado. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day on-site construction operations and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules, adjusting as needed to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
- Manage and document project progress through daily logs, photos, and reporting tools.
- Conduct regular quality assurance inspections, addressing non-conformance issues promptly.
- Lead and motivate construction crews, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging collaboration.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field, with a focus on commercial and/or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
- Familiarity with local building codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Proficient with construction management software, such as Procore is a plus.
- OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus.
