We are searching for a talented Occupational Therapist Southcoast is partnering with CCA to provide assessments in the homes of their members. The assessments will assist in determining what services they need to remain in the home. The OTs primary role is to complete an OT evaluation and functional assessment to determine how much personal care the patient requires. These are not homecare patients. The assessment is only needed when they start services with CCA and if the member has a decline in ADLs performance.
Hours: Per Diem Shift: Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm Location: This is a per diem position with the greatest need in Fall River. Responsibilities Under general supervision of the Program Director, Rehab & Integrated Services and the Clinical Nurse Manager or designee, perform duties to support and in support of the VNA Rehabilitation Department. Provide Therapy services directed towards preventing disability, relieving pain, developing, improving or restoring motor function and maintaining maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the patients capabilities.
Qualifications - A Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
- Current License in Occupational Therapy by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification is also required.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs is required.
- One (1) year of experience is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range USD $55.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
