Job Description
Position:- Nurse Practitioner
Location:- Oakland, CA
Full time
Role & Responsibility
  • Conducts psychiatric assessments and administers treatment of all referred primary care patients.
  • Offers diagnostic and treatment consultation to primary care providers and other clinicians.
  • Develops and assists in implementing psychiatric treatment plans with the patient's primary care provider and other clinical providers or staff.
  • Participates in case conferences, staff meetings, and phone conversations to coordinate services for the clinics' patients. All services will be provided in collaboration with other behavioral health clinicians, service coordinators, case managers, social workers, and primary care clinicians.
Education & Experience
  • Must possess a current CA Nurse Practitioner license.
  • DEA and furnishing licenses with the ability to obtain within one year.
  • Training and experience in public sector work, community mental health, and working with dually diagnosed clients.
  • Strong computers skills required including EHR Epic.
  • Spanish speaking highly preferred but not required.
