Job Responsibilities
To provide for the proper maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Responsible for maintenance of all doors, locks, and associated hardware to include re-keying and complete locksmith duties. Completes or coordinates all furniture and equipment moves on or off campus. Maintains golf carts and tractors.
Responsible for all locksmith duties for campus. Makes repairs and performs routine maintenance on all doors, locks, keys and all associated hardware.
Responsible for all moves, office furniture, and equipment on campus.
Make repairs to various furnishings on campus, such as desks, tables, and chairs. Assists with minor construction and remodeling projects to include wall and ceiling construction; cabinet building and installation; hanging whiteboards, pictures, plaques, and screens.
Responsible for maintaining all golf carts, tractors and related equipment for the College. Completes PMs as assigned and be able to make repairs during emergencies when equipment is needed during use. Follows manufacturer's instructions for proper maintenance and repairs.
Maintains Campus Operations storage bays. Keeps all supplies in a neat, orderly, and easily accessible fashion.
Assists other technicians with a variety of maintenance related duties, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Highschool diploma and trade experience directly related to the area of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree and 2 years directly related work experience; and formal locksmith training.
