Job Description
This role is home/hybrid, based out of our Bardstown, Kentucky office.
What the Role Is
The International Export Specialist provides administrative, sales and marketing support services to multiple stakeholders for the International Sales and Marketing team. This position will respond to requests for sales, marketing, shipping, product information and specifications. The Specialist serves as a key communicator to support sales and marketing within the International team.
How You Will Spend Your Time?
  • Interface with international customer base as well as International Sales Team.
  • Identify the needs of the customer and provide accurate, valid and complete information.
  • Oversee the management of Case Goods Forms, Scrap Requests, and Obsolete/Sell Out Forms by collecting and organizing all necessary information.
  • Ensure labeling compliance with customer and/or country policies, procedures and legal regulations
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company to provide regulatory information and documentation.
  • Liaison with Quality to resolve customer complaints and work with internal departments to provide appropriate solutions and follow up to ensure resolution and prevention
  • Complete new product offers, tenders, registrations, and applications.
  • Assist with daily requests from representatives and customers for marketing, shipping, product/case specs, images, technical information, ingredients, allergens, etc.
  • Coordinate and assist with creation and customization of sales materials, delivery and communication to representatives and customers.
  • Communicate allocations and monitor to ensure order and shipment.
  • Coordinate samples to ensure that correct labels, formulas, and products are fulfilled promptly. Track all costs.
  • Responsible for gathering all pertinent information for new customers, working with internal departments to ensure proper setup including payment terms, government regulations, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Procure all necessary health registrations, international documentation, certifications, labs, pricing approvals, and government approvals requested by the customer for the importation of HHIL products.
  • Assist with planning incentive trips and customer visits, interfacing with customers to coordinate and gather details. Greet customers during visits as requested.
  • Assist with responses to international customer product inquiries.
  • Manage and/or assist with international trade show planning and execution, working with the international team to prepare product and POS shipments, etc.
Who You Are...
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Four (4) years of international customer service experience, preferably supporting sales/marketing functions
  • High proficiency using Excel as well as expertise in using software such as Word, PowerPoint, and Google websites
  • Ability to quickly understand verbal and written instructions, acting upon them for desired results.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify problems and present well-thought-out solutions
  • Proficient in organizing daily workloads and projects to ensure timely completion
  • Skilled in focusing on individual tasks and projects, minimizing distractions to maintain high productivity levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer satisfaction skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external contacts. Strong consensus-building skills.
  • Bi-lingual preferred
Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:
  • Advanced computer skills working with ERP systems
  • Experience in a distilled spirits industry
Physical Requirements
While performing duties of job, employee is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
