The Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) division at NYU Grossman School of Medicine is actively seeking board certified/board eligible pediatric emergency medicine trained physicians to join our well-established academic group.nnThis is an exciting opportunity to work with our academic PEM group and our emergency medicine colleagues at sites in Manhattan and Brooklyn, all of which are expanding their services and growing in volume. This position will involve a clinical role at our 3 NYU Langone Health locations. NYU Langone Medical Center is the main hospital in Manhattan of the NYU School of Medicine and a quaternary care institution with active services in pediatric oncology, transplant, complex GI/hepatology patients, cardiology and cardiac surgery including ECMO capability, and other assorted subspecialties housed at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital. NYU Brooklyn is an established community teaching hospital in Sunset Park, Brooklyn with a diverse and vibrant population. NYU Cobble Hill is a free-standing emergency department that is staffed by a PEM physician 8 hours every day. There is a deep level of collaboration between all of the providers at all of the campuses.nnIn addition to clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will be an integral part of a robust academic PEM division at NYU School of Medicine that includes a well-established fellowship with strong scholarly programs in education, ultrasound, simulation, community outreach, and quality improvement. There is ample opportunity within the NYU community and the School of Medicine to pursue a variety of leadership, clinical, educational, research, and community-related interests.nnSalary RangennNYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The annual salary range for a junior faculty role is $282,800 to $302,500. Candidates who qualify for higher level faculty appointments are also encouraged to apply. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including faculty appointment, credentials, research history, specialty, and health system need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.nnResidency-trained and board-prepared or certified in pediatric emergency medicine.
