Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT Location: North-Central Arkansas We are seeking a passionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver exceptional respiratory care and collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
Position Responsibilities - Patient Assessment and Treatment: Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
- Therapeutic Administration: Administer oxygen and various respiratory therapies, such as bronchodilators, nebulizers, and chest physiotherapy.
- Diagnostic Testing: Perform pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analyses to evaluate patient conditions.
- Mechanical Ventilation: Provide mechanical ventilation support and monitor patients on ventilators to ensure optimal respiratory function.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and effective disease management strategies.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Position Requirements - Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited school
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Current Arkansas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- BLS and ACLS Certification
