RRT - Respiratory Therapist - Up to $10,000 depending upon experience.
Shift: Multiple day and night positions. Every other weekend, Rotate holidays.

Job Description: MLee Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Northeast Vermont. This role involves delivering professional respiratory care to patients across a spectrum of health conditions, involving assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. The Level I Therapist is responsible for administering and overseeing patient care within adult ICU settings and across general units, including adult, pediatric, and cystic fibrosis populations. The role demands quick physical response to emergencies and sustained physical activity. Candidates must be capable of standing for extended periods and serving patients across diverse clinical areas. There may be opportunities to take on Charge responsibilities and work in the ED after achieving proficiency in these areas. Ongoing maintenance of proficiencies in adult ICUs and general units is expected, with new hires required to achieve these within one year of starting.
Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic tests to assess lung function and oxygenation levels.
- Administer therapeutic treatments and medications to patients with respiratory conditions.
- Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilator settings for patients requiring respiratory support.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and disease management.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments and progress.
Qualifications: - Associate degree from AMA approved program for Respiratory Care
- State of Vermont Respiratory Care Practitioner Licensure
- For new grads - must become a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC within one year of hire date.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experienced Therapists must already have RRT status.
- Current ACLS, BLS & PALS.
