Join us at Easterseals NY- Bronx CDC for an exciting career as an Occupational Therapist.nnSalary: $60,000-$85,000nnEssential Job Functions:nnAdministers Occupational Therapy patient care programs as planned with and directed by OTR. Receives direct OTR supervision for 10% of treatment time.nna. Assists the OTR when performing tests, evaluations and/or complex treatment procedures, whenever necessary. b. Follows established departmental procedures and observes safety precautions during treatment implementation c. Confers on a daily basis or as deemed necessary with the supervising OTR in order to progress the patient's program effectively.nnProvide Occupational Therapy services for children as needed.nnMake classroom consultations and screening recommendations for children as needed.nnWrite progress notes and annual reports on time schedule addressing the child's strengths, needs and progress.nnComplete record keeping as required by licensing/certifying agency including Frontline and Kinney system.nnComplete evaluations from referrals.nnMaintain professional standards and current skills in therapy techniques.nnAttend staff/team meetings and other CPSE/CSE meetings as assigned.nnAssist in staff development and training.nnPerform other duties as assigned.
