Salary: $60,000-$85,000

Essential Job Functions:
n

Administers Occupational Therapy patient care programs as planned with and directed by OTR. Receives direct OTR supervision for 10% of treatment time.
n a. Assists the OTR when performing tests, evaluations and/or complex treatment procedures, whenever necessary.nnnn b. Follows established departmental procedures and observes safety precautions during treatment implementationnnnn c. Confers on a daily basis or as deemed necessary with the supervising OTR in order to progress the patient's program effectively.nn n- n
Provide Occupational Therapy services for children as needed.
n n- n
Make classroom consultations and screening recommendations for children as needed.
n n- n
Write progress notes and annual reports on time schedule addressing the child's strengths, needs and progress.

Complete record keeping as required by licensing/certifying agency including Frontline and Kinney system.
n n- n
Complete evaluations from referrals.
n n- n
Maintain professional standards and current skills in therapy techniques.
n n- n
Attend staff/team meetings and other CPSE/CSE meetings as assigned.

Assist in staff development and training.
n n- n

Education and Experience:
n
n- n
Bachelors Degree or its equivalent in the field of Occupational Therapy from a recognized college or university
n n- n
Current license by the State Board of Registration in Medicine
n n- n
Three years experience working with children as a therapist is preferred
n n- n
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
n n
n
