Seeking an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in the NYU Langone Advanced Heart Failure Program. The individual will be primarily based in Long Island where we haveseen tremendous growth in all areas of heart failure, including cardiac sarcoid and amyloid. Post LVAD and transplant patients are cared for in NYU-LI and the candidate will be able to take care of fresh post heart transplant while rotating at the NYUManhattan campus to have a greater depth of transplant exposure at one of the largest and most innovative heart transplant programs in the country. NYU Long Island has a robust cardiogenic shock program with all mechanical support devices available on site. The candidate will also have opportunity for procedures related to advance heart failure including right heart catheterizations, endomyocardial biopsy, and pulmonary artery sensor placement if interested.
